Progress...

Kim's parents finally got power yesterday about 6:00pm. We still do not have power at the rent house, so now we are bunking in with Gran and Grandpa. We do not have high hopes to get power today, so maybe by the end of the weekend.

During all of this, they have actually made progress to our house under construction in League City. They laid the forms for the foundation a week before the storm and when we checked on our lot on Wednesday, the sewage lines were in place and looked like they were about to do the hot/cold water lines. We are going to check to see if there is more progress today. So, it looks like the storm did not delay our new house construction at all.

Autumn Lakes (our new home subdivision) received very little damage and we were worried about Clear Creek flooding into the neighborhood. The water level was high, but no where near any homes and a long way away from our lot which is situated just about as far from the creek as we could get.
