We have been getting a little bit of "hate mail" about not updating the blog, so the next few posts will hopefully catch everyone up on where we are and what we have been doing! Sorry for the delay...It has been really busy around here! I will start with finishing up the details on the move.

We said goodbye about a month ago to our first house! Lots of tears were shed. As we pulled away, Micky and I wondered if we had made the right decision. It was sad to leave this house....the house we brought Ava home to....the house where Micky and his dad built Ava's swingset in the backyard....The house with the most precious nursery ever (I cried when Micky had to paint over the mural)....The house with lots of sweat equity - paint, landscaping, crownmoulding.....The house with the best neighbors in the world and great memories of cooking out, playing in the sprinkler and watching fireworks....The house that hosted two graduate school graduation parties....Our first house is full of so many great memories....It was so much more than a house....it was our home, and it was hard to walk away....The only thing that helped was knowing that Marilyn, the new owner, will treasure this house and make many great memories there too!
