The slab foundation for our new home was poured on Saturday, Oct. 5th. We should have the house in the 'dry' by the end of the month. The building contractor told us that we would close no later than February 1st, 2009, so we will hold him to that. With a new baby due on December 3rd (or earlier), the rent house will get small real quick.I know we have made a few references here that Kim is pregnant (and she will probably elaborate on that in another post), but in case you did not know, we are having a baby boy! I am pretty excited that the crucial balance of male/female ratio is tilting a little more to the male side (but still heavily favored on the girl side overall). We have started to get all of our baby stuff together and buying things we either didn't have or if we did have it, were too girlie for a boy.
Kim's OB/GYN has been keeping close tabs on her by scheduling visits every two weeks and that will probably increase to every week in the near future. So far, no complications. Kim is uncomfortable these days and I try my best to take care of things around the house for her. Please keep us in your prayers as the due date nears.
